Welcome! This is the first official post for Midwest Dress! I would just like to start off by mentioning that I decided to create this blog to document my personal style and to inspire others to create a defined and personal style of their own! Living in the Midwest we have four extreme seasons which create very unpredictable weather. That being said, I strive to create a style that is functional and practical for the 90 degree summer days and the below freezing winter nights. Also as a stereotypical college student my funds always seem to be low and I find myself hunting second hand stores for those hidden gems. Here I am motivated to show other fashionistas you don't have to spend a lot to have great style!
